Enerpac ZU4208TE-Q Electric Torque Pump

This Pump has come back from hire/rental and after more than 70000 cycles is still going as strong as if it was new. Pump was used with Enerpac S3000 Wrench, W4000 Drive Unit, W4206 60mm 2-3/8" Cassette and W series 60 to 50mm Reducer.

• For all major brands of 700 and 800 bar single- or double-acting torque wrenches
• Z-Class high-efficiency pump design; higher oil flow and bypass pressure, cooler running and requires 18% less current draw than comparable pumps
• Powerful 1,25 kW universal motor, high power-to-weight ratio, excellent low-voltage operating characteristics
• Low-voltage pendant provides additional safety for the operator (remote control units)
• LCD readout provides pressure display and a number of diagnostic and readout capabilities never before offered on a portable electric pump
• Auto cycle feature provides continuous wrench cycle operation

Hawkins use custom made jacks to lift the Aotea Carpark

Hawkins Engineering undertook a project to repair and strengthen the car park roof, and as part of this needed to develop a cost-effective and safe system for lifting the roof at each column so they could change the rubber bearing between the column and roof.

The design brief was tight and included the development of a lifting mechanism so Hawkins could replace each of the 20-40mm rubber gravity bearings that sit between the top of each of the 39 columns and the roof.

Enerpac initially didn’t have the correct model with the required stroke, so Jonel product manager George Pavletich arranged for the manufacture of special 75mm-stroke, four jacks with tilt saddles that move five degrees in any direction, giving a total lifting power of 640 tonnes.
