Shane Quigley joins Jonel in Business Development

Just like Jonel, Shane has been working in the  heavy engineering industry for over 30 years. This included managing industrial products such as Enerpac for Paykel Engineering Supplies and the last 10 years in technical sales of bolting equipment and high force hydraulics.

Shane is driven to help people develop equipment solutions that exceed expectations, and has earned the nickname “Tool Man” amongst industry players.

With a never say die attitude and an analytical approach, he is often the person to unravel complex mechanical issues that others have walked away from.

Shane specialises in unearthing the root causes of faults, and process innovation.

With NZCE and NZIM training, Shane strongly believes in ‘training the trainer’ to get the best results and has worked as an internal trainer for many of NZ’s biggest industrial companies.

He says “I get a kick out of using my broad industry experience to look at the big picture and find better ways to do things – and sharing the latest techniques with customers.”

Shane and his wife have four grown children, which means Shane has more time these days for cycling, rugby, league and indulging his passion for micro computer programming and all things electronic – from the Casio calculator and the Psion organiser to the latest Samsung smartphone.
